The Academic Team at Caldwell County Middle School competed in the 5th District Governor’s Cup Saturday.
The competition was held at the local middle school with 4 teams in attendance. Academic Team sponsor and middle school teacher Sonia McClung explained what is involved in the Governor’s Cup competition.

She noted the students have to the chance to advance to higher levels of competition during the year.
