Phillip Wayne Dillingham, age 72, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. Mr. Dillingham was born on May 22, 1951, to the late Maurice and Alma Parker Dillingham. He worked for more than 40 years as a coal miner and an electrician and was a member of the IBEW Electrical Union. Mr. Dillingham was also a member of Gilland Ridge Baptist Church.
Mr. Dillingham is survived by his wife ~ Kristal Dillingham of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Heather Dillingham Starr of Illinois; a step-daughter ~ Katie Roberts of Madisonville, KY; a sister ~ Joyce Dillingham Robinson of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister-in-law ~ Thelma Dillingham of Dawson Springs, KY and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers ~ Jimmy Dillingham and Jerry Dillingham.
Visitation for Phillip Wayne Dillingham will be on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. J.W. Haire and Rev. Joey Todd officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Dillingham, Stephen Vanderveer, Matt Johnson, Jeremy McCord, Keith McKinney and Buddy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Haulk, Scott Kembel, Brian Moore, Tim Britt & Eric Kembel.
