The Caldwell Regional Career Center held a fundraiser last week that ended Friday with two teachers awarded the prize of having a pie in the face.
Career Center Principal Zach Thomas explained they wanted to have a different kind of fundraiser for the students to participate in for their Club.

click to download audioWhen the money was counted the total came out as a tie meaning that two teachers could be receiving a pie. This meant both Seath Butts and Alan Shaffer were called to the conference room to receive their prize. Thomas added there was another surprise for the winning teachers as they entered the room.
Brylee Butts said she and her Father have a great relationship and it was fun to give him the pie to the face.

click to download audioA total of $370.00 was raised for the Skills Club and Principal Thomas explained how the money would be used for the students.
click to download audioPrincipal Thomas announced there would be a second round for the fundraiser featuring himself. He pledged he would take a pie to the face if more money was raised this week toward that goal than was raised for the two teachers.
