Janice Ann Martin Coleman, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82, on February 3rd, 2024, in her hometown of Princeton, Kentucky. Born on June 14th, 1941, to George Martin, Jr. and Syble Hopper Martin.
Janice’s legacy is carried forward by her devoted family, including her daughters, Kim (Ricky) Cotton of Princeton and Mitzi (Joe, II) Travis of Princeton; her son, Mike (Amanda) Coleman; and brother, Bobby (Shirley) Martin of Murray. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of her adoring grandchildren, Chelsie (Jake) Jones, Shelby (Terry) Werne, Hannah (Conor) Wheeler, and her cherished great-grandchildren, Chiles Trail, Sloane Werne, Justin Jones, Molly Jones, Camdon Wheeler, and Rory Wheeler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Coleman.
Throughout her career as a teller with Farmers Bank, Janice touched the lives of many with her kindness and humor. Her involvement in the Carefree Homemakers Club and her faithful membership at Bethany Methodist Church exemplified her commitment to her community. Janice found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from playing cards to delving into a good book, to the delicate art of sewing.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home and from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. James Shuck officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Church Cemetery.
