Local Kiwanis Club Seeks New Members as it Celebrates 100th Anniversary

The Princeton Kiwanis Club is looking for new members to join the organization that is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

A longtime resident of Princeton, Jay Davis with the Club says it was chartered in 1924. He says the Kiwanis Club is like many of the local organizations but some of the charities they focus on are different.

click to download audioFurthermore, he says the Kiwanis Club has always been a charitable organization with a primary focus on kids.

According to Davis, a lot of the local clubs are struggling with membership, including the Princeton Kiwanis Club which currently has six members.

click to download audioHe says they are looking for men and women, young or old, to join the local Kiwanis Club that helps organizations in Caldwell and Lyon counties.

click to download audioDavis invites anyone interested in becoming a member of the Princeton Kiwanis Club to contact one of its members or attend one of their meetings. The Kiwanis Club meets at noon on the first and third Wednesday of each month at Pagliai’s Pizza.
