A Princeton man was charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment after a disturbance Thursday morning.
According to Princeton Police, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence near the 600 block of Grace Court around 3:00.
Police said an investigation revealed that 29-year old Remariae Turner was involved in a physical altercation that caused minor injuries to the victim. The woman also reportedly told officers that Turner had smashed her phone and held her against her will.
Turner was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree unlawful imprisonment, a Class D felony. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
