Neva Henson, age 87, of Grand Rivers, passed away February 11, 2024, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Neva was born April 6, 1936, to the late Charlie and Nonie Walker. She was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church and in her spare time loved to go fishing. Neva was a homemaker and was a school bus driver for Livingston County Schools.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy Lynn Henson of Grand Rivers; daughter, Lynne (Dalton) Jo Watkins of Grand Rivers; son, Roy Shawn Henson of Grand Rivers; brothers, Harold Zane (Donna) Walker of Grand Rivers, Mackie Ellis Walker of Grand Rivers; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Lois Young and Dorothy Helen Walker; brother, W.T. Walker.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Rivers.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. James Holsapple officiating.
Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.
