Cathy Ladd, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, in Kuttawa, KY, at the age of 71.
Born on June 29, 1952, in Princeton, KY, Cathy’s gentle spirit and warm heart touched many lives throughout her journey.
Cathy’s life was a testament to her enduring love and devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her husband of almost 54 years, Ronald Lee Ladd, her cherished daughter, Leslie (Gary) Goodaker of Princeton, and her loving son, Lee (Tara) Ladd of Princeton. Her joy was multiplied through her grandchildren, Adam, Andrew and Benjamin Goodaker, Jordan, Kaylee, and Ashlee Ladd, who will carry her memory forward. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her faith played a central role in her life, and she served with grace and commitment at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, teaching Sunday school and sharing her musical talents as a pianist. Cathy’s professional life was marked by her dedication as a Department Manager at Walmart.
An adept hand at crochet, Cathy created beautiful pieces that were infused with the same love and care she showed to all. She was the embodiment of loving, kind, and gentle, a light to everyone she encountered.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Margaret Hopper Pugh, and her brother, David Pugh.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Ray and Rev. Ed Rollins officiating. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery in Christian County.
