Caldwell County Schools Join WKEC Campaign to Support Public Education

Caldwell County Public Schools is participating in a campaign initiated by the West Kentucky Education Cooperative (WKEC) to support and promote public schools in the region, as announced by Community Relations Coordinator Lizzie Wynn on Wednesday.

The initiative, named “West Kentucky Public Schools Strong: Connected to our Communities. Committed to our Kids,” started on February 14 and will continue until March 20th.

As per WKEC officials, the objective of the campaign is to showcase the combined strength, unity, and commitment of West Kentucky’s public schools in delivering outstanding education and assistance to students throughout the area.

Officials indicate a key highlight of the campaign is the designation of February 28th as “Wear Red for Public Ed Day” across the West Kentucky region. On this day, students, teachers, staff and community members in Caldwell County and the other schools that are participating are encouraged to wear red attire to show solidarity and support for public education.

Throughout the campaign period, WKEC officials said there will be a huge social presence to amplify the message of unity and excellence in West Kentucky public schools.

In a written statement, Communications Consultant Mary Mac Dyer of WKEC said by working together, we can showcase the strength and commitment of our schools and the profound impact they have on our communities.

According to WKEC officials, the “West Kentucky Public Schools Strong” campaign is a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of all those involved in education across the region. Together, we stand united in our mission to provide the best possible education and opportunities for our students.
