The FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve” is a very familiar phrase to every student who has been a part of the FFA organization in their lifetime.
The Degree Ceremony held for the Caldwell County FFA Tuesday night was the beginning steps for some of the local students but it was also a time for some former students to look back and remember how the Agriculture Department and FFA brought the learning, doing, living and serving into their lives over the years. Some of those former students and now adults shared what their time in FFA means to them even now. Princeton Mayor and former County Judge Executive Brock Thomas shared he has great memories of his time in FFA.
