The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office welcomed a new member to its team this week.
According to Sheriff Brent White, Deputy Josh Travis was sworn in Monday by Lyon Chief Circuit Court Judge Jamus Redd.
Sheriff White says Deputy Travis is nearly a 14-year veteran of law enforcement in Hopkins, Caldwell and Lyon counties. He is a DOCJT Academy graduate, a POPS-certified officer, and an Academy of Police Supervision graduate.
Sheriff White says they are excited to add Deputy Travis to the team and look forward to him serving the citizens of Lyon County.
