Geraldine Lagora Lewis, age 77, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Geraldine was born on April 17, 1946, in Akron, Ohio to the late Howard and Ruth Tucke Shuman. Geraldine loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include six daughters, Connie Dieser of Ohio, Diane Smith of Florida, Brenda Edge of Florida, Mary Lou Barfield of North Carolina, Melissa Fowler (Ken) of Princeton and Holly Turpin (Bobby) of Princeton; one son, John Halter of Ohio; two sisters, Sondra Nash of Ohio and Linda Shuman Johnson of Ohio; one brother, Timmy Shuman of West Virginia; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews: step-daughters, Edna (Tommy) Atwood of Princeton, Melissa (Justin) Wilkerson of Princeton, April (Mike) McDaniel of Henderson; 13 step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lewis; three brothers, Spencer Shuman, Eddie Shuman and Dennis Shuman.
Visitation for Geraldine Lewis will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Seth Shephard and Bro. Robert Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
