Princeton City Council is continuing to move forward with plans for renovations at the City-County Park following a discussion on the most recent bids for the pickleball/tennis courts project, as well as replacing the fences of two ball fields.
During Monday night’s meeting, Mayor Brock Thomas presented the bids for the pickleball/tennis courts to the city council. He informed them that they had received a single bid from General Acrylics for the project.

click to download audioThomas mentioned that he intends to seek clarification from Lake City regarding certain details in their bid that “were not spelled out” as the bid received from Triple J.
Councilwoman Sheila Gates asked about the possibility of referencing the tennis courts. Mayor Thomas responded that it was not included in the current package but he would obtain the specifications for it and solicit bids accordingly.
