Ethel Lee Daugherty, 90, was born on January 15, 1934, in Butler County Kentucky. She died Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Princeton Nursing & Rehabilitation. She grew up in Richland, Indiana and lived for many years in Rockport, Indiana. Her parents were Luther and Delia Daugherty and she had three brothers and three sisters.
She later lived and worked in Owensboro, Kentucky. She worked at the Owensboro Daviess County Hospital. She is survived by her son Jeff Daugherty, two grandchildren, Andrea Markham and Megan Duvall. She has four great grandchildren, Chansey, Austin, Grayson and Adler. She has many nieces and nephews in the Kentucky and Indiana area.
She retired from the hospital and lived in Owensboro until moving back to Rockport, Indiana in 2020. She was placed at the Princeton Health and Rehab in December of 2021 after her third hip break.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the memorial hour. Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
