The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 3305 in Lyon County on Monday and Tuesday, April 1 and 2, to replace a cross drain.
According to District 1 spokesman Keith Todd, KY 3305 will be closed between Elkhorn Tavern Road and Jacks Way and about halfway between KY 93 and the I-24 Tunnel.
He says the road at this site is expected to close promptly at 7:30 Monday morning. It’s expected to reopen around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.
There will be no marked detour.
Todd says this cross-drain replacement project is being scheduled during Spring Break to avoid disrupting school bus traffic.
