A youth mission team from Grand Rapids Michigan is spending their spring break in the local area helping those still rebuilding from the 2021 tornado.
Praying Pelicans Ministries partnered with relief groups from the Dawson area to bring a group of high school students from the Tri-Unity Christian School to serve as a mission team during their spring break. The trip from Grand Rapids took the group 8 hours to arrive in Princeton. Andrew Barnes, a Bible Teacher in the school, accompanied the students and explained that a group from the school takes a mission trip each year.

click to download audioOwen Rosendall is an 18-year old senior at the school and said he came on the trip because he wanted to serve.
Rosendall added he was not prepared to see the destruction left after the tornado even after two years.

click to download audioThe Tri-Unity Christian School has around 130 students in grades 9 – 12 and 9 junior and senior students made the trip to Kentucky. They partnered with H R Ministries who provided housing for them in Princeton during their stay and they also attended Sunday morning services at Princeton First Baptist Church.
