Richard Mark Conner, age 71, of Kuttawa, KY passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah. Richard was a Master Locksmith and owned and operated Conner Commercial Lock in Evansville, IN. He sang and played piano for a southern gospel group, The Noblemen, for thirteen years. He enjoyed woodworking, watch repair and gardening. Richard was originally from Evansville, IN but chose Kuttawa for his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Rebecca Ruth Wilson Conner, Kuttawa, KY; two daughters, Megan (Michael) Miller, Franklin, TN and Amy Conner, Evansville, IN; two sons, Matthew (Lindsay) Conner, Indianapolis, IN and Ben (Laura McGee) Woodson, Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Barbara (Gary) Jeffries, Newburgh, IN and Faith (Tony) Green, Boonville, IN; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Conner, Evansville, IN; six grandchildren, Riley Miller, Jackson Miller, Brooklyn Miller, Elliot Conner, Lexi Estes and Ciera Conner; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William and Wilma Perry Conner; step mothers, Eileen Conner and Peachy Conner; and three brothers, Gary, Eugene and Michael Conner.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
