A Kuttawa woman is facing DUI and drug charges after police said they responded to a call on US 62 for an intoxicated driver coming from Lyon County early Thursday morning.
According to Princeton Police, officers stopped a vehicle driven by 26-year old Kathlynn Cutshall after it was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Harvey Lane around 1:00. Upon contact with Cutshall, officers said they could smell alcohol and marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officers conducted field sobriety tests and said they determined Cutshall was under the influence of intoxicants. Police report that a records check also indicated that her license was suspended, and she was found in possession of prescription pills that were not hers.
Cutshall was taken into custody and charged with DUI, operating on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and prescription not in proper container. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
