The Caldwell County Conservation District has announced the date for the tree seedling giveaway for this year.
According to Hannah Feagan, the seedlings and birdhouses built by the Caldwell County FFA will be given away on Tuesday morning April 16 beginning at 8:30 am. There will be 600 seedlings available and 100 birdhouses at the District office located at 302 Taylor Street in Princeton.
FFA Advisor Parker Jennings shared that this was the second year for the local FFA chapter to work with the Conservation District to provide the birdhouses. He added it was a good learning experience for the students and also gave them a chance to support the community.
