Take Kids Fishing Day for Caldwell County will be held in May at the Riverside Park on the Tradewater River in Dawson Springs.
The Caldwell County Conservation District is one of the sponsors for the annual event and Hannah Feagan from the district shares the details of the event.

She added that everyone who registers will be provided with a meal.
click to download audioSeveral sponsors are responsible for the morning of fishing and supplying prizes for the day.
click to download audioFeagan noted that everything is provided for the kids to fish, you do not need to bring any equipment. She also added that the students don’t need to know how to fish and there will be several volunteers there to help anyone needing assistance.
click to download audioThe fishing day is open to any Caldwell County child ages 3 through 15 as well as children from Webster and Hopkins Counties.
