Lane restrictions will be in place on both the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 69 in Caldwell County on Monday for asphalt testing.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, traffic in both directions will be reduced to one lane from the Lyon County/Caldwell County line at the 73.7-mile marker to the 78-mile marker, about two miles west of the KY 91 exit in Princeton. Officials say crews will perform asphalt testing between 9 am and 3:30 pm.
Motorists should be alert to one-lane traffic, with some delays possible during the movement and placement of equipment.
Drivers also need to use caution where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the road close to traffic flow.
