One person was transported to the hospital after a wreck in Lyon County last week.
According to Sheriff Brent White, Deputy Michelle Kent was sent to a two-vehicle wreck with minor injuries on Jack Thomason Road around 6:00 Thursday evening.
He says the investigation revealed a pickup truck driven by 17-year old David Kraft, of Kuttawa, was traveling westbound when his vehicle’s wheel dropped off the shoulder of the road, causing the teen to overcorrect before going up an embankment and overturning on the road. When the vehicle was overturning, it reportedly collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 51-year old Jennifer Whittington, of Kuttawa.
Sheriff White says a passenger in Whittington’s vehicle was transported by private vehicle to the Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
