After months and months of anticipation, the George Coon Public Library officially cut the ribbon during its grand reopening of the newly renovated children’s section Friday morning.
The renovation project was made possible through a T-Mobile grant. Kathy Svoboda with the Friends of the George Coon Public Library expressed her gratitude to store Manager David Lewis from T-Mobile and presented him with a plaque in recognition of their support.

Library Director Nichelle Faughn thanked everyone for attending the ribbon cutting and said she is elated with the renovation of the children’s section.

The George Coon Public Library is located at 114 South Harrison Street in Princeton. The library is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
