The Fredonia Valley Legion Mini Tractor Pull was held Saturday morning at the Fredonia Ballpark.
This was the first time for the group to hold this activity and according to Presley Lamm they had over 20 entries to participate ranging from children to adults. Lamm went on to say the idea came from Boyd Bates and they were excited to add another clean family-fun activity for the community.

The chicken was making his way around the area and would go from the concession area to the main pulling area. When stopped and asked what he was doing he replied he was there to make people smile and help them enjoy the day.

The chicken was 15-year-old Dougie York who is a sophomore at Caldwell County and a member of the youth group. He said Bro Presley had asked him to wear the chicken suit but it was hot but if it brought smiles it was worth it.
