The grand opening of the new Marshalls store in Princeton will be Thursday morning May 16 at 7:45.
The Massachusetts-based company announced plans in December to open a location on US 62. Jenny Clark with the city’s economic development branch said the community was invited to Thursday’s grand opening.

click to download audioMarshalls is a retail store that specializes in discounted brand-name items, including accessories, shoes, and housewares.
The discount retail store was initially established as an Army & Navy store in 1956. It was acquired by TJX in 1995 and now has more than 1,000 stores spanning 43 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
The only other Marshalls store in Kentucky is in Murray. Other stores are located in Evansville and Clarksville.
