Caldwell County Band Celebrates 2023-24 Season With Banquet

The Caldwell County High School Band of Pride held the end of the Band Banquet Friday night beginning in the high school cafeteria.

Band Director Mason Henry shared the night was a time to honor the band for their accomplishments during the past year and to recognize the senior members.

click to download audioRachel Messamore is completing the year as the President of the local Band Boosters and noted she has enjoyed serving the band and being a band Mom to this group of students.

click to download audioThe graduating class members were each given time to share stories about their time in the band and hand out special items that held memories to them to younger band members. One theme that kept being shared was how proud they are to be a part of the marching band to score the hightest rating in several years this year. Band Director Henry with the help of assistant director Stone handed out certificates to all band members. The Directors then presented an award to the outstanding band member in each class grade, Henry announced those winners beginning with the middle school.

click to download audioAt the conclusion of the awards program everyone was dismissed to the Fine Arts Building to view a slide show of the past year for the Caldwell Band of Pride.

The program began with a meal catered by Ms Piggy’s BBQ of Princeton.
