Baccalaureate Services for the graduating class of Caldwell County High School was held Sunday evening in the Fine Arts Building on the high school campus.
The Class of 2024 gathered at 6:00 pm to participate in the first of three programs of the graduation week activities. The students entered the theater to the traditional Pomp and Circumstance. The invocation was given by Maci Tyler and the scripture was read by Marissa Smith. Ellie Ramey then introduced Rev. Kirk Greenfield Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church as the speaker for the night. Greenfield has been a Pastor for 25 years and also taught in the local school system for 6 years. Rev. Greenfield shared it was an honor to be asked to speak to the class which includes his daughter.
He noted he was glad to be a part of the Baccalaureate service and that they continue to be held locally.
