A Kuttawa woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Lyon County last week.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reports the wreck occurred on KY 93 North at the intersection of the south entrance of KY 819 shortly after 11:00 Friday morning. According to the investigation, 71-year old Virginia Travis of Princeton pulled onto KY 93 from KY 819 into the path of a vehicle driven by 23-year old Kiara Ortiz, causing her vehicle to run off the road and collide with a railroad bridge wall.
Ortiz was transported by Lyon County EMS to an area hospital for evaluation of her injuries. Travis was not injured in the crash.
