Robert Joseph “Bobby Joe” Young, age 77, of Lyon County, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2023, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He enjoyed shooting sports, old cars and motorcycles.
Bobby Joe was born May 15, 1947 to the late Owen Carlisle Young and Francis Howton Young.
Survivors include close friends, Linda Isaacs, Kuttawa, Ky and Frank Gresham, Eddyville, KY.
In addition to his parents, Bobby Joe was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Hall and two brothers, Leroy Young and Leon Young.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Bro. John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Lance Nichols Cemetery in Caldwell County.
