Kentucky households that lost food bought with their SNAP benefits due to recent storms have 10 days to apply for replacement benefits.
The Kentucky Department for Community-Based Services announced on Tuesday that recipients who lost food bought with SNAP due to a power outage of at least 4 hours caused by the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes on Sunday can call their office at 855-306-8959 to request replacement benefits.
Officials said you need to have your case number ready when you call.
