A Caldwell County Road Department employee was injured in a wreck on Sandlick Road Thursday afternoon.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman reports the wreck occurred around 12:30 on Sandlick Road approximately 7 miles south of Princeton.
He says the investigation revealed that 52-year old Robert Ridlen of Caldwell County was driving a Caldwell County Road Department truck eastbound and dropped off the shoulder of the road. As Ridlen attempted to regain control of the dump truck it overturned.
According to Sheriff Weedman, Ridlen was transported by ComCare Ambulance to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment.
The collision was investigated by Deputy Stacey Blackburn who was assisted by Princeton Fire/Rescue and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
