An EMS call to a motel in Lyon County last week escalated into a drug-related arrest of a Princeton man and woman that resulted in a Taser deployment and multiple charges.

According to Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, Deputy Sheriff David Carroll was sent to a Kuttawa motel to assist Lyon County EMS for a patient with breathing problems around 3:15 Monday morning, May 27. Once on the scene, Deputy Carroll reportedly observed illegal narcotics in the room and attempted to detain 35-year old Andrea Breedlove. He said Breedlove physically resisted arrest and a taser was deployed before she was taken into custody without further incident. She was charged with resisting arrest and lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.

The report says 48-year old Heath Rogers was charged with possession of meth and transported by Lyon EMS to Caldwell Medical Center.

Deputy Carroll was assisted at the scene by Sheriff White.
