Doretta Sneed, age 89, of Dawson Springs, KY died peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Deaconess Healthcare in Evansville, IN. Ms. Sneed was born on March 21, 1935, in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Archie Dillingham and Eula Wilson Dillingham. She worked for the past twenty years as a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of the Landmark Apostolic Church of Dawson Springs.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Crick of Henderson, KY and one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Orange and Lynn of Eddyville, KY.
Ms. Sneed is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Donald Sneed; four sisters, Velma Franklin, Virgie Childress, Zelpha Tucker, and Ora Shumaker; and two brothers, Billy Finise Dillingham, and J.W. Dillingham.
Visitation for Doretta Sneed will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 12:00 Noon at the Landmark Apostolic Church in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Rusty Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
