Rufus Arnold Jr. (R.A.) Lisanby, age 78 of Eddyville, Ky, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at his home in Eddyville.
Born August 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Rufus Arnold Lisanby Sr. and Olan Thomas Lisanby.
He is survived by his wife Janine Voss Lisanby of Eddyville, one daughter Cheryl Troesser and husband Donald of Morton, IL, four sisters Nancy Schellenberg of Washington, IL, Betty Sauder and husband Orville of Peoria, IL, Sara Summers and husband Mike of Fishers, IN, Sheila Ducommon and husband David of Robinson, IL, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be from 11:00 am Wednesday June 5, 2024, at East Marshall Baptist Church in Gilbertsville. Family and friends will start gathering at the Church at 10:00 am Wednesday. Rev. James Keeling and Dr. Steve Freeman will be officiating.
