The Hometown Hero Banner program in Caldwell County which was launched last year, continues to grow.
Jail Administrator Angela Cotton, the Hometown Hero Banner project organizer, says that after the second round of applications, nearly 100 banners will be lining the streets of Princeton.

click to download audioThe initial phase of the Princeton Hometown Hero Banner project began in June 2023. Applications for the second round were opened in March of this year. Currently, according to Cotton, the timeline for accepting applications for the third round of the Hometown Hero Banner program has not yet been determined.
click to download audioFamily, friends, and loved ones of all active and retired military members and veterans, including those who have gone on before us, are all eligible to purchase a Hometown Hero banner. Community members and organizations can sponsor or make monetary donations to cover the cost of brackets as well.
