City-County Pool Opens for the Season

The City-County Park swimming pool has officially opened for the season after some unexpected delays.

The necessary repairs were made and officials with the park were given the green light and on Saturday morning at 11:00 the gate opened to the public.

Park Director Stephanie Stallins was glad to be able to open the pool for the season.

Parents don’t have to worry about their swimmers getting hungry at the pool. Stallins explained they offer a variety of food options. They also provide a special rate for grandparents or adults who accompany children to the pool and choose not to swim.
