A Princeton man who escaped from the Caldwell County Jail and was apprehended in Kuttawa in April has been indicted on multiple charges by a Lyon County grand jury.

Sheriff Brent White reports two separate indictment warrants were served on 30-year old Gregory Munsell at the Crittenden County Detention Center last week.

According to the report, Munsell was indicted on charges of burglary, criminal mischief, and being a persistent felony offender on one indictment from a burglary at Malloy’s Korner in southern Lyon County on April 19th.

The second indictment charges Munsell with receiving stolen property — an automobile over $1,000 and under $10,000, and being a persistent felony offender. Sheriff Whtie said these charges stem from April 20 when Munsell was found in possession of a pickup truck previously reported stolen in McCracken County after he evaded law enforcement in that jurisdiction.

As previously reported by WPKY’s News Edge, Munsell was waiting to be processed at the Caldwell County Jail when he ran out the door on Friday, April 12, and didn’t return. He was the subject of a manhunt and was captured on April 20th in Kuttawa.

Munsell is being held in the Crittenden County Detention Center on cash bonds related to the charges totaling $10,000.
