Director Joey McCaslin informed the Fiscal Court at Tuesday’s meeting that Caldwell County Emergency Management had been awarded a special project grant.
He explained that it is a 50/50 grant from Kentucky Emergency Management, with the 50% match to be shared between the city and county for the purchase of mobile radios.

McCaslin mentioned that the next thing they need to look into is a repeater for the northern part of the county, particularly for the sheriff’s department.
