A Lafayette woman was charged with possession of drugs during a warrant arrest on Madisonville Road in Christian County Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Sam Suiter says he went to the home after receiving a tip that 47-year-old Rebecca Hancock was there and had an active warrant out of Caldwell County for theft by unlawful taking.

She was located and during the arrest, a law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on her vehicle, and meth, a glass pipe, and other drug paraphernalia were found.

She was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
