Jackie “Jack“ Lynn Lady, age 51 of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 25, 1973, in Princeton to his late parents, Rev. William Frederick “Bill” and Mary Ann Lady. Jackie grew up on his parents’ farm, working with his brothers during his youth. As an adult, he spent many years of his life serving as a butcher for local meat departments. He began his career at Sureway grocery store, where after years of dedication and hard work he achieved a position at Food Giant as meat department supervisor. But of all, Jackie’s love for the Lord was his greatest achievement.
Jackie is survived by two daughters, Andrea Lady of Sanford, Florida, Summer Adams of Princeton, KY; three sons, Codie Lady of Princeton, KY, Peyton Miles of Fredonia, KY, Jacob Lady of Fredonia, KY; two brothers, William Brock (Candice) Lady of Princeton, KY, Jock Waylon Lady of Princeton, Ky; three grandchildren, Noble Crew Oliver, Jaxen Ray Nelson, Lilly Ann Nelson; two nephews, Christian Darien Lady, Trenton Coy Lady; one niece Brooklyn Ann Lady.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rod Booth Lady of Princeton, KY.
Jackie’s dedication to sharing the Word of God was paralleled by his commitment in his faith. He was a walking evangelist, sharing the Good News with any ear willing to listen. He loved spending time with Jesus, as he was often found sitting quietly and reading his Bible. Those around him found strength in his steadfast devotion and Jackie found solace in the little pleasures of life. He loved fishing, and a good turkey hunt. He was a simple man. Let us hold fast to the memories of Jack, and the lessons he imparted. As we gather to bid him a fond farewell, let us rejoice in knowing that Jackie has found his eternal rest in the loving arms of Jesus.
