The Caldwell County Road Department will be replacing several failing culverts on various roads over the next two weeks.
Supervisor David Waldrum has announced the tentative schedule for culvert replacement work on the following roads:
– Wednesday, 7:00 AM: Old Madisonville Road near address 1050
– Thursday, 7:00 AM: White Schoolhouse Road at two locations between US 62 and near Cummins Road
– Friday, 7:00 AM: Shady Grove Road near Rufus Road
– Monday, July 15, 7:00 AM: Westfork Road near Victor Hillyard Road
– Tuesday, July 16, 7:00 AM: Holeman Hill Road at several locations throughout the road
Waldrum says they plan to keep the road closures at these work sites as brief as possible. He indicates any updated information will be provided as it becomes available.
