The path to becoming the principal at the Caldwell Regional Career Center began for Tim Bush when he was born and raised in Trigg County.
He grew up being a Trigg County Wildcat and graduated from his hometown high school. After graduation, he decided to play football at a higher level but then transitioned to Murray State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Along the way, he married his high school sweetheart Chrissy and raised their family in Trigg County. Bush began his career by teaching history at Madisonville and then taught at Hopkinsville before returning to Trigg County to teach history and coach football and baseball. He was named assistant principal at Trigg High School in 2000 and in 2001 named principal where he has served until the end of June with 18 years in the Trigg system. During his teaching years, he returned to Murray State University to gain his Master’s Degree in school administration. He is proud to say he and his two sisters are all college graduates and are in the education business being the first in their family to complete college. He shared that with all the time spent in Trigg County, the change to Caldwell County has not been as difficult as some might think thanks to his connections to family and friends who already live in the Princeton area.
