With the summer heat gripping the area for the past few weeks, Tennessee Valley Authorities Paradise Simple and Combined Cycle electric generation plant is ready to help quickly meet the needs.
The new simple and combined cycle natural gas generation units are standing in front of the historic Paradise Fossil Plant. Plant Manager Jim Phelps says TVA is working this summer to make sure they are prepared to handle the demand on the electric power grid.
