A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has resumed paving operations this week on US 62/East Arcadia Avenue in Dawson Springs.
According to state transportation officials, the project will widen US 62 from the Dawson Springs Board of Education to the Dawson Springs City Park. The new layout will include two drive lanes and a turning lane, and new gutters, curbs, and sidewalks will be added throughout the project area.
The project is scheduled for completion by the end of May 2025.
