Shelia Faye Trafford of Princeton, KY, passed away on July 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. She was a dedicated caregiver for over 30 years, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Shelia was known for her love of grandchildren, dogs, and engaging conversations over coffee. Her warm personality and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Traylor of Princeton; son Billy Poe of Princeton; brother Roy “Boots” Davis of Princeton; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews; as well as many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Shelia is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Martha Wells, husband John Trafford, brothers Donnie Davis, Bobby Davis, Frankie Wells, sister Phyllis Cansler, daughter-in-law Angie Stallins Poe, grandchildren Gabby Wilson and Terry Traylor.
Services to celebrate Shelia’s life will be held at Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton on July 26, 2024. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Bro. Clarence Cooper officiating. Burial to follow at Meeks Cemetery.
Shelia Faye Trafford will be remembered for her selflessness and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of compassion and care will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
