Grand Rivers Man Arrested in Connection with Lyon County Burglaries

A Grand Rivers man was arrested after an investigation into two burglary complaints on KY 810 South in Lyon County.

Sheriff Brent White said when deputies responded to the complaints the investigation revealed a green GMC pickup truck pulling a trailer was involved in the burglaries. With the assistance of other law enforcement agencies in the area, the vehicle was tracked to Livingston County where the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office located the truck’s owner, 49-year old Billy Dismore.

After obtaining search warrants, deputies reportedly located a large amount of stolen property with the assistance of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Dismore was taken into custody and charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.

In addition, Sheriff White said a similar crime over 10-years old of a felony theft, was solved as a result of this investigation. He says the stolen property was cataloged and photographed before being released back to its rightful owner.

He noted the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
