Kaylen “Sissy” Sullivan, 28, of Caldwell County

Kaylen Elizabeth “Sissy” Sullivan, age 28, graced the world with her presence on April 8, 1996, in Caldwell County, KY, and departed on July 22, 2024, in Evansville, IN, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.

Sissy was a beacon of love in the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Caldwell County High School in 2016, carrying with her a spirit of joy and a love for the simple pleasures in life. Sissy’s passion for Nick-Toons was matched only by her love for her cherished dogs and the unforgettable beach parties where Sissy’s love for music and dancing shown brightly. Her laughter was a familiar sound during the many gatherings with her beloved family at her home or during visits, where memories were made and treasured.

She is survived by a loving family: her mother, Mary Beth Sullivan and fiancé, Allen Gordon; her father, Larry Dale Sullivan and fiancé, Bonnie Kirby; her brothers, Wesley Dale (Sabrina) Sullivan and Tanner (Candace) Harper; her step brother, Steven Kirby; her step-sister, Amber Hall; her paternal grandfather, William D Thomas; her adored niece, Knoxlynn Sullivan; and her nephews, Easton and Aspen Sullivan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sissy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glendy and Patirck Hummell, and paternal grandparents, Robert Louis and Blondell Sullivan.

Sissy’s life was a testament to the power of loving kindness. Her gentle soul and kind heart left an indelible mark on the world, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation for Kaylen “Sissy” Sullivan will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
