This week and next, students and parents can attend orientations and open houses organized by Caldwell County Public Schools to collect schedules and obtain essential information before the school year begins.
Today, July 29, from 9 AM to 3 PM, Caldwell County High School seniors can pick up their schedules and locker information. Additionally, seniors who have completed and received approval for their parking pass documents can paint their parking spots.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 AM to 3 PM, sophomores and juniors can collect their schedules and locker information at the high school.
On Thursday, August 1, all 9th graders are encouraged to attend orientation at Caldwell County High School. The event begins at 4 PM, with cafeteria doors opening at 3:45 PM. The Fine Arts door will open at 5:30 PM for the parent-student meeting. The day will feature an information session, guided tours, fun activities, and treats for freshman students. Freshmen will also have the opportunity to pick up their schedules and locker information.
Next week, the school district will host several events: 6th-grade orientation at the middle school on Monday, August 5, from 4 PM to 6 PM; open house for 7th and 8th graders on Tuesday, August 6, from 4 PM to 6 PM; open house at the elementary school on Thursday, August 8, from 4 PM to 6 PM; and open house at the primary school on the same day from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 14.
