A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the state section of KY 1905 (Wilson Farm Road) in Crittenden County on Tuesday.

According to District 1 spokesman Keith Todd, KY 1905 will be closed for full-width paving between KY 120 at mile point 0.0 and the End of State Maintenance at mile point 2.797, where it meets the county section of Wilson Farm Road.

Todd says the road will close promptly at 6:00 AM Tuesday and is expected to reopen to normal traffic flow later the day. He mentioned that residents can self-detour around the closure at either end of Wilson Road.

By paving the roadway full-width, Todd indicates that it cuts the paving time in half to reduce inconvenience to the public and provides a smoother driving surface.

Todd states that the contractor will ensure timely access for emergency vehicles and maintain access for local residents on both sides of the paver.
