J. J. Griggs has accepted a new position in the Caldwell County School System after serving 30 years in the classroom.
The newly formed position will assist local students as they decide and prepare for their future either with higher education or entering the workforce. Her duties will help students and parents as they search for available scholarships, fill out forms, school options, deadlines for paperwork, career pathways and other financial and available resources.
Griggs explained her new position and said that she would be working at both the high school and career center.
